Computer Hope is a collection of free services that allows users to access a database of extensive computer related information. The company offers free technical support, computer product information, free online forums, computer product buying tips, third-party computer company information, driver listing, computer dictionary, news, and a weekly computer newsletter.

History

Computer Hope came online November 2, 1998 as a reference for basic computer information and help.

In March 2001 Computer Hope was included in PC World Sixth Annual Best Free Stuff on the Web. It’s growth continued to the point that in 2002 they received over two million unique visitors and over eighteen million hits and today is the number one result when searching for computer help.

Forums

In March 2004 Computer Hope introduced the Computer Hope forum as a place for visitors to talk about and find answers to their computer questions. The forum now has over 25,000 members and is an active community for people to find answers to their questions, talk about computer related topics and create their own frequently asked question pages.
